Melox Power Vet is a non steroid anti – inflammatory drug usually known
as NSAID. The major action is by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandin
PGE2 by selectively inhibiting the COX 2 [Cyclo-Oxygenase] enzyme.

COX enzymes play a key role in Inflammation and pain. Anti Inflammatory
drugs inhibit these enzymes. There are two separate COX isoforms
( COX 1 & COX 2).
While COX 1 is required for the beneficial physiological functions, COX 2
stimulates Inflammation.
Melox Power Vet is also a proven potent analgesic and antipyretic with least
Conventional NSAID’s inhibit both the beneficial COX-1 & the undesirable
Cox-2 enzymes. But, Melox Power Vet selectively inhibits only the COX-2
to diminish the anti inflammatory effect, thereby allowing the beneficial action
of COX –1 enzyme. So, it prevents any side effects such as bleeding, ulceration,
perforation in the upper gastro intestinal tract and damage in the kidneys.

DOSE & ADMINISTRATION :
For exclusive I.M use only
Dose: 0.5 mg / Kg Body weight.
1 ml per 40 Kg Body Wt
Large Animal : 10 ml for 400 Kg Animal.
Repeat the dose for minimum 3 days
